With the DAHÜ, people with reduced mobility can enjoy a hike in nature!

Thanks to Fondation des sports adaptés and Centre Horizon, the centre écologique Fernand-Seguin is now equipped with a DAHÜ, an all-terrain wheelchair allowing people with reduced mobility to access more irregular and steep paths during walks in natural environments.

People with reduced mobility accompanied and wishing to offer themselves a hike in nature.

The DAHÜ must be pushed by one or more people depending on the weight of the passenger.

Only one chair is available.

  • The activity must take place between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Sunday.
  • Return of equipment no later than 4:30 p.m.
  • The reservation must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

No charge
(a valid ID is required to make the reservation – returned at the end of the activity).

  • Visitors who have reserved the DAHÜ must arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled time of the reservation so that the patroller can present the device to them and offer them a little training if necessary.
  • If visitors are late for more than 10 minutes, the reservation will be cancelled.
  • Reservations must be made at least 24 hours.
  • Reservation possible every day from the beginning of May to the end of November.
  • People must be able to get to the ecological center chalet by their own means (parking available nearby free of charge).
