About the activity
Les samedis 25 janvier et 22 février 2025, les familles ont été conviées au centre écologique Fernand-Seguin pour deux balades aux flambeaux.
Ces deux soirées ont permis de profiter des joies de l’hiver en parcourant des sentiers éclairés, dans une atmosphère des plus agréables! Les randonneurs ont également pu se réunir autour de l’un des feux de foyer installés lors de l’événement.
Cinq vagues de départs ont été proposées au fil de la soirée afin d’assurer une circulation fluide et sécuritaire sur le site.
Sur place :
- Kiosque pour se ravitailler : breuvages chauds et grignotines (AT Sushi)
- Tire d’érable offerte (Desjardins x Érablière des Roy)
- Animation par les Contes de Normanville
- Foyer
- Butte à glisser éclairée et prêt de tubes (gratuit)
- Navette gratuite en continu de 18 h à 22 h entre le lieu de départ (centre écologique Fernand-Seguin) et le stationnement du Walmart
Thanks to Loisir et Sport Montérégie, the Ministry of Education, Kino-Québec, and the City of Châteauguay for making these activities possible for free, and to Desjardins for collaborating in the festivities!
Note: Dates are subject to change in case of unfavorable weather conditions.
The activities take place at the centre écologique Fernand-Seguin, located at 257, rue Fernand-Seguin in Châteauguay.
The activity takes place between 6 pm and 9 pm.
Cinq vagues de départs sont offertes : 18 h – 18 h 30, 18 h 30 – 19 h, 19 h – 19 h 30, 19 h 30 – 20 h, 20 h – 20 h 30.
It takes about 45 minutes to complete the trail on foot. To prolong the pleasure, fireplaces are available to participants!
Free for all, reservation required. To access the site, you must obligatorily present your ticket. Your ticket can be presented in paper format or on your phone.
There will be no rental service. For the proper functioning of the activity, the hike will be practiced on foot only. The rental center will be set up as a coffee counter for the occasion.
→ What happens if it rains or is too cold?
We will reschedule the activity if the weather does not permit its holding. Our team will communicate with participants no later than 3 pm on the day of the activity.
→ Why do you control the number of people attending the event?
Several departures will be offered in the evening. By arranging departures with a set amount of participants at a time, we ensure that traffic will be fluid on the site. It is expected that more than 1000 people will attend the event.
→ Where can we park?
The centre écologique Fernand-Seguin has a parking lot with approximately 150 spaces. To facilitate access to the site of the festivities, a shuttle system will be offered free of charge between the Walmart parking lot and the centre écologique Fernand-Seguin. Carpooling is highly recommended.
→ Will the rental center be open?
There will be no rental service. For the proper functioning of the activity, the hike will be practiced on foot only. The rental center will be set up as a coffee counter for the occasion.
